Chocolate Orange Cake Eggless Without Oven || Easy and Simple Chocolate Orange Cake Recipe

Cake is our all time favorite Sweet Dish. This recipe is all about baking a Chocolate Orange Cake with a little use of Carrots. It is purely egg-less and has been baked using a Pressure Cooker without any microwave or Oven. Enjoy this Complete recipe step by step.



Ingredients:


1 cup All purpose flour or Maida (Sifted)

1 Cup Powder Sugar(Sifted)

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking Soda

1 tsp Orange Rind

2 tbsp Cocoa Powder

1 tsp Orange Juice

2 tsp Carrots (shredded)

Milk as required (Room Temperature)

1/3 Cup Curd

1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil

1 tbsp Butter (Room Temperature)


Method


- Grease the cake tin with some oil and then line up with a Butter paper again apply some oil on the paper and the baking tin is ready.

- Combine together Oil and Curd and beat

- Sieve baking powder and baking soda in to the flour then combine the three

- Add sugar to the oil curd solution and whisk nicely.

- Add the dry mixed ingredients to the wet solution and fold this

- Add a little milk then orange rind and continue to fold

- Reserve some amount of the batter in a separate bowl.

- Sieve 1tsp of Cocoa powder to the orange juice and mix them and add this mixture to the reserved amount of batter and combine them until it turn chocolaty

- To the other part of the batter add the Carrot and mix.

- Pour the batter in the tin in 3 layers first carrot mixed then chocolaty batter and again carrot mixed batter.

- set the baking tin into the preheated pressure cooker and allow this to bake for 30-35 minutes on a low flame keeping the flame in medium for the first 5 minutes.

- Make chocolate frosting by adding together butter, sugar, cocoa powder and little milk and whisk until creamy.

- After 40 minutes de-mold the cake, apply some chocolate frosting and garnish with some icing sugar(optional)
