Zebra Cake Recipe || How To Make Zebra Cake Without Oven Or Microwave

Ingredients:


1 cup All purpose flour or Maida (Sifted)

1 Cup Powder Sugar(Sifted)

2 Eggs

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking Soda

2 tbsp Cocoa Powder

5 Drops of Vanilla Essence

Milk as required (Room Temperature)

1tbsp Butter(Room Temperature)

1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil




Method


- Grease the cake tin with some oil and then line up with a Butter paper again apply some oil on the paper and the baking tin is ready.

- Combine together butter, oil, egg and sugar and beat nicely.

- Sieve and mix Refined flour, baking soda and baking powder and combine. 

- Add the dry flour mixture to the wet solution and fold gently. Add milk as required.

- Divide the batter in two seperate bowl, to one portion add cocoa powder and mix(add little milk if needed) and to the other add vanilla essence and mix.

- Preheat the Pressure cooker layered with some sand/salt for 10 minutes.

- Pour batter into the baking tin in several layers alternatively like vanilla batter then chocolate and again the same process. Continue for 6-7 layers then run a toothpick to give a floral kind of design.

- Bake for 40 minutes, keeping the flame in medium for the first 5 minutes and rest to be done under low flame.

- After 40 minutes de-mold the cake. Slice and serve.

Chocolate Cake Recipe || How To Make Homemade Chocolate Cake Without Oven

Ingredients:

2 Cadbury

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking Soda

2 tbsp Cocoa Powder

6-7 Drops of Vanilla Essence

1/2 tsp Coffee Powder

Milk as required (Room Temperature)

1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil

Pinch of Salt

Chocolate Sauce

2 tbsp Butter (Room Temperature)



Method


- Grease the cake tin with some oil and then line up with a Butter paper again apply some oil on the paper and the baking tin is ready.

- Combine together all the dry ingredients and mix gently.

- Preheat the Pressure cooker layered with some sand/salt for 10 minutes.

- Crack eggs and mix with oil and beat until both are combined.

- Add the egg - oil solution to the dry mixed ingredients and fold.

- Add milk and vanilla essence and again fold until lumpsfree.

- Pour batter into the baking tin and bake for 40-50 minutes, keepink the flame in medium for the first 5 minutes and rest to be done under low flame.

- Make chocolate frosting by adding together butter,Chocolate Cadbury, Powder Sugar sugar, cocoa powder and little milk and beat until creamy. Melt butter and cadbury then add cocoa powder , sugar and milk (2tbsp, 1 chocolate bar, 1tsp, 2tsp, 1tsp respectively)

- After 40 minutes de-mold the cake, apply some chocolate frosting and garnish with some Chocolate Sauce, Crushed chocolate cadbury and chopped almonds.


And...you are good to go!

How To Make Yellow Mung Dal With Fish Head || Fish Head Moong Dal || Yellow Mung Lentils || Indian Recipe || Dal recipe

The Mung Dal tastes absolutely awesome when cooked with fish head in the following way.Try out this different way of using the fish head for such a delicious dish instead of having it by putting in plain fish curry as usual. Have this dal along with plain rice ,you will love it.




Ingredients



(1/2 of a big size Katla fish head) - Fish head
200 gms - Sona Mung dal
1/2 tsp - cumin Seeds
2 - Bayleaves
1 - Dry red chilli
1/4 tsp -  Sugar
1 - Small-Onion
1-1/2inch - Ginger
3 cloves - Garlic
3 - Green-chillies
Mustard oil-2 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/4 tsp
Ghee - 1/2 tsp (Can add more or less as per taste)
Water as required
Salt as required



Method Of Cooking


- Marinate the fish head with some salt and turmeric

- Wash and soak the dal in water for 15 minutes.

- Pressure cook the dal with salt, turmeric, green chilli and some water for 3 whistle.

- Grind together Onion, garlic, ginger, Cumin & Coriander powder. Make a smooth paste.

- In a Kadai heat some oil and add the marinated fish head and fry from all sides.Keep it aside.

- In the same Kadai heat some more oil and add cumin seeds, bayleaf, dry red chilli and cook on moderate flame for 30 secs.

- Add the onion-masala paste, a green chilli, some salt and sugar and then stire nicely.

- Add the fried fish head, smash it roughly and mix it with the masalas.Add some water and cook well.

- After around 5 minutes add the boiled dal, add some water and mix everything nicely.Simmer this for 5 - 7 minutes covering with a lid.

- switch off the flame add  some ghee and garam masala. Give it a final mix and it is done.


Mung Dal with fish head is ready to be served! Serve it with plain rice.

Basic Vanilla Cake Recipe Without Oven || Easy and simple cake recipe || how to make Vanilla Sponge Cake

Learn how to make Plain Vanilla Cake without Oven. Recipes for Beginners - Step by step instructions on how to make a basic sponge cake.

Vanilla cake is liked by almost every one so lets bake a cake in your own home kitchen and it is not necessary to have a microwave or oven to bake a soft and fluffy cake, infact I will be using Pressure cooker to bake my cake in this Recipe.


Ingredients:


1 cup All purpose flour or Maida (Sifted)

1 Cup Powder Sugar(Sifted)

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking Soda

8-9 Drops of Vanilla Essence

2 Eggs (room temperature)

2tbsp Milk (Warm)

1/3 cup oil

Pinch of salt

Dry Fruits

Method


- Grease the cake tin with some oil and then line up with a Parchment paper

- In a bowl add all the dry ingredients do not forget to sieve the baking powder and baking soda, mix these all together.

- Heat the pressure cooker layered with some sand or salt on low to medium flame for around 10 minutes(Remove the whistle before using the cooker).

- Crack 2 eggs and beat them for 4-5 minutes then add oil and whisk again

- Mix the combined dry ingedients to the egg oil mixture and mix them well( gently fold and cut)

- Add milk and vanilla essence and the dry fruits and give final mix

- Pour the Solution into the baking tin on top put some chopped almonds and black raisins.

- Place the tin in the hot pressure cooker on top of a stand and allow it to bake on a medium flame for first 5 minutes then on low flame for another 40-45 minutes covering with the lid.

- Check by inserting a toothpick to come out clean.

- Cool and demould the cake

Slice the cake and enjoy in your evening tea time.

Ingredients:


2 Sliced Bread(Trimed edges)

Lettuce Leaves

Cheese

Mayonnaise

Butter

Powder Black Pepper corns

Tomato Ketchup

200 gms Minced Chicken

1 medium Onion(Chopped)

1 medium Tomato(Chopped)

1 Green Chilli (Chopped)

Coriander leaves(Washed and chopped)

Half of a Lemon

1 Potato(Boiled and grated)

1tsp Ginger and garlic(Grated)

1/4tsp Red chilli powder(Optional)

1/4tsp Chicken Masala

Pinch of Turmeric powder

Salt as required

2tbsp oil


Method


- Heat some oil in a pan, add onion let this become translucent then add the ginger and garlic and stir for sometime.

- Add tomato, chilli and minced chicken, salt and chicken masala, tumeric, red chilli powder and stir then cover and cook for 5 minutes or so.

- Add potatoes to the chicken and stir then add chopped coriander and squeez half of a lemon. The mixture is ready.

- Lightly Toast the bread slices then apply butter on one bread and generous amount of mayo on the same bread.

- Apply some cheese on the other bread.

- Place the lettuce on the base, over to this the chicken masala, sprinkle some pepper powder and tomato ketchup. Cover this with the other slice.

- Cut in triangle and serve


And it is ready to treat your taste buds...

This Egg Paratha having a wrap and a Chicken filling tastes really good. In this recipe we shared a unique trick of making soft parathas and a nice chicken filling. Enjoy this so called street food in a homemade way.


Ingredients

For Dough
100 gms All purpose flour(maida)
1 Medium Potato(Boiled)
1 tbsp. Cooking Oil
1/3 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
Required water

For Roll Filling:-
2 Medium onions, sliced
2 Egg
75 gms Boneless Chicken
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Black pepper Powder
1 tsp Soya Sauce
1 tsp Cornflour
1/2 tsp. Ginger-garlic paste
1/2 Lemon
Pinch of Black Salt
Dry Roasted Peanut
Dry Roasted Masala Powder(Cumin, Dry Chilli, Cloves, Cardamom, cinnamon, Black Peppercorn, Salt)
Tomato Ketchup as per taste
Mustard Sauce as per taste
Salt as required



Method

- Wash and marinate the Chicken with salt, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, pepper powder, cornflour, lime juice.Cover and rest for 30 minutes(If possible allow more time)

- In a bowl mix together flour, boiled potato, sugar, salt and oil and knead these dry ingredients first then add water little by little and continue to knead till it forms a soft dough.

- Coat the dough with oil, cover and rest for 20 minutes

- In a Kadai or pan add oil. Once oil is moderately hot add the marinated chicken. Stir then cover and cook till its half done then add the sliced Onions and again cook for a couple of minute untill the onion looks translucent.

- Divide the dough in equal parts. Roll the dough into a 7 inch diameter disc

- Heat the tawa, put the rolled paratha and cook both sides untill brown spot appears. Once done keep it aside

- Heat 2 tsp of oil in the tawa on medium flame then beat one egg with some salt and pepper powder. Spread the beaten egg in the center of the tawa. Over the egg add the paratha and press gently. Flip and cook the other side as well

- Plate it then over to this add the chicken-onion filling in a line. Sprinkle pinch of black salt, roasted masala powder, peanut. Squeez lime, add ketchup and mustard Sauce.

- Roll this tightly. Wrap two-third the roll in a paper

- Tuck excess paper at the bottom.

Chicken Egg Roll is ready! Try this.

Fish Curry Recipe || Katla Fish || Bengali Fish Curry (Katla Macher Jhol) || How To Make Fish Curry

This Fish Curry is very simple with less use of spices for your regular and ordinary non veg meals. Goes well with plain rice. The Recipe tastes equally well using Rohu Fish.

Ingredients


6 - Pieces Fish (Katla Fish)
1 - (medium) Potato
1/2 teaspoon - cumin Seeds
1 tbsp - Ginger garlic green-chili paste
Coriander leaves(washed and chopped)
Mustard oil - 8 tbsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 Pinch
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
Water as required
Salt as required



Method Of Cooking

- Marinate the Fish pieces with some salt and turmeric powder.

- In a Kadai or pan heat some oil and add the fish peces, fry till it change its color. Once done keep it aside.

- In the same Kadai or pan add cumin seeds and pinch of sugar. Let the cumin seeds crackle.

- Add potato and some salt and allow it to fry for a couple of minute. Once done reserve this.

- In a bowl make a mixture adding Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, turmeric, cumin, coriander powder and the remaining sugar along with some water.

- Add the masala mixture in the hot oil and mix well, add some salt and cook untill it releases oil

- Add in the fried potato pieces and mix well with the masala.

- Add water and allow the potatoes to boil properly. Cover this with a lid.

- After 8-10 minutes add the fish pieces and mix well.

- Simmer it for 2 - 3 minutes. In between flip the fish pieces.

- Switchoff the flame sprinkle some  chopped coriander leaves  followed by a pinch of garam masala powder.


Fish Curry is done! Serve this with plain rice.

How to make Chicken Curry || Easy and Simple || Aloo Chicken || Bengali Style || With Potatoes

This Chicken Curry is very easy and simple to prepare for your regular and ordinary meals with all the ingredients readily available at home. Tastes good along with plain rice.

Ingredients


500 gms chicken
3- (medium) Potatoes(Cut in half)
1/2 teaspoon cumin Seeds
1 Bayleaf
1 Dry red chilli
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
1-large-Onion(thin sliced)
1-large-Onion(cut into big pieces)
1-(medium)Tomato(sliced)
Ginger garlic green-chili paste-1 tbsp
Coriander leaves(washed and chopped)
Mustard oil-5 tbsp
Turmeric powder-3/4 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp(as per your taste)
Cumin powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/4 tsp
Water as required
Salt as required



Method Of Cooking

- Marinate the Chicken pieces with some salt.

- Grind together big cut pieces Onion, turmeric, Cumin & Coriander powder, a piece of tomato and also a pinch of sugar. To make a smooth paste add some water.

- In a Kadai or pan heat some oil and add Potatoes to it and cook on moderate flame, till it turns golden brown. Once done keep it aside.


- In the same Kadai or pan add cumin seeds, bayleaf, dry red chilli and a pinch of sugar and alloe it to sizzle

- Add Onion slice and allow it to fry till golden and then add the ginger garlic green chilli paste followed by the onion-masala paste. stire nicely.

- Add tomato, red chilli powder and some salt and stire. Allow it to release oil.

- Add in the marinated Chicken pieces and stire and then add the fried potatoes.Simmer this for 15 minutes or so covering with a lid.

- Boil some water in another oven with the left over masala mixture.

- After 15 minutes add the hot water and mix it up nicely and then simmer for another 10 minutes or untill the chicken is boiled thoroughly.

- Switchoff the flame sprinkle a pinch of garam masala powder followed by chopped coriander leaves. Cover it for a minute.


Chicken Curry is ready to be served! Serve it with plain rice.
